Working across multiple mediums my goal is to make collaborative performance work that finds the the best way to tell the best stories.

Poetry

I began performance poetry in 2013 and have since performed, competed and been featured across the North West including Evidently, Word War One/Two, Spoken Weird, Shilly Shally, Hammer and Tongue, Axis Slam, Nantwich Food and Music Festival and UniSlam.
I am the Nantwich Words and Music festival slam champion (2015), a two time finalist in the Word War Slam series, finalist at the Axis Arts Slam and part of a team that took second place at UniSlam 2013. In the final year of university I ran a monthly Spoken Word night in Crewe called PLATFORM.

Workshops

In the past eight years I have run performance-based workshops for all ages and experience, exploring autobiography, devising new work, power dynamics and basic voice/movement skills. Having worked independantly and freelance to deliver workshops for Cheshire East Safeguarding Adults, Dundee College, NHS, The Shore Youth Organisation and Ad-Lib Theatre Arts.

Film

Despite training in live performance, I am also a huge fan of film and often use video within my performance work. As an extention of that, I have independently shot several short films (Slam, As We Go Along, The Round, Jeff (He is a guitar) and Flatmates II).

I'm also a massive nerd who likes films, books and tabletop gaming.
